4 centuries after 1265 Britain created political parties. After the world exclusion crisis politicians split into two parties which were the tories and the whigs which made a coalition from 2010 to 2015.

Whigs

The whigs were trying to reform aristocracy. They attracted upper class people, but later on in 1862 they became the most modernized party which increase the electoral base of the middle class people. They became the most element in the whigs and radical union which was called the liberals.They then they merged with the social democratic to create the liberal democrats.

Torys

The word Tory immediately gained supporters which had strong royal power due to their traditional ideals and also as it was the time where the monarchy was trying to restore itself. They were a quite a small party until there political views changed as reformism and radicalism was popular in the last three centuries of the 1800s which led to the french revolution and the became a powerful party. They made a new status quo of conservatism which gave them a new of defenders. During the 19th century till today they became the conservative party. The party wanted to maintain the same traditions of britain while still supporting the new opportunities created by the industrial revolution. In2010 dew to no single party had a majority so the liberal democrats and the conservatives formed a co elition.

It supports the political party as in the headline it threatens that disaster will happen of we dont back the conservatives with a picture of Theresa may smiling to present her in a posotive way to entice people to vote for her party. The headline is large and every word starts with a capital letter which creates urgency.

Labour

After the first world war the labour party was formed. They formed an independent party so they had to elect their representatives. A few years later they ran for minority government but it didn't last. A few years later they ran for majority government which came ta the expense of the other parties as the liberals became the next alternative after the conservatives. For 30 years the power alternated from the two parties.

This newspaper supporters party as the subheading is trying to rectify what the labour party has done by saying that they needed a better leader  and that Jeremy corbin is the leader to make that happen. The sub heading talks about the party going back to its core values which may attract labour party supporters. Also they have a catchy headline which conveys that they are supporting the labour party.

Analysis of mad men. The scene starts with a birds eye shot of the street, they use digetic sound through sound of the cars and they use mise en scene through the old cars, this is to establish that the office is in New York. Then the camera cuts to a shot of them entering an elevator there is fast pate instrumental non digetic music  from the era to emphasize the fast paste of the business world. They use digetic sound as when they reach the floor the elevator bings. They us mise en scene as the men are all wearing suits and the one women is wearing clothes from the era. Burn the witch and un-finished symphony comparison. Unfinished symphony used their video to represent street life to raise awareness of what a lower class neighborhood in los angles looked like uninterrupted where as Burn the Witch uses characters from a popular children's television show to show part of the narrative from the movie the wicker man which is intertextuality, the two story lines of the children television show and the wicker man juxtaposes ecahother.
