There is a plus size woman in the video. This contributes to the video as normally plus size people are not commonly used in adverts and thinner models are usually used. She is wearing a bright colour which plus sized women do not usually wear bright colours, this makes her look bold and confident within the way she looks. The camera zooms out from a mid length shot to a full body shot where she is standing next to a bright pink wall which matches the trousers of her outfit. Her standing on the street shows how she is confident wearing bright clothes in public. In this shot there is a European man wearing a skirt, this is to represent the lgbtq, it also send the message that there are no gender barriers in fashion and it is breaking gender stereotypes, this is shown as he is wearing a t shirt and a skirt.. He is holding a sign in a European language which represents people of different ethnicity's. It also reflects what the narrators saying 'wear a short ...
Bring it on h&m advert - textual analysis At the start of the advert the sound is slowed down and low, which reflects the slow motion editing. There is a prominent beat to it which imitates a heart beat this conveys that the video is about a life changing matter. The mise en scene is young people which are different ethnicity dancing which targets there audience as h&m is cheap and there customers are younger people who do not have a lot of money. The beat then quickens its pace as the voice overs pace quickens as it starts listing items of unused/ unwanted items of clothing most people have in their wardrobe, the voice over takes the role of the narrator as they narrate what is being shown on the screen. The advert uses performance poetry as it is ment to be read out and has a beat, the rhythm of the poetry is the same as the rhythm used in the soundtrack which is non-digetic. The editing also quickens its pace to move along with the quicker beat. The mise en scene...
Evaluation For the fair trade side of the brand i think i did well on telling how my brand could have an ethical production and how the money can be put towards helping the people that attire source there clothes form and the conditions that the workers have made the clothes would have. But i don' think that it is clear in my posters that the clothes were made ethically. In my sketches i thought that the setting being outside would convey the naturalness of the brand, whereas now i think that a slogan about how its high end clothes and how they are fair trade or a different setting like a cotton field would be better suited.  I feel as if the type of clothing that it sells doesn't appeal to the 16-25 audience as they wouldn't usually wear dresses and suites to formal events and that it being slightly more high end wont be in the price range for them. So maybe changing the brand name to something that would could convey more casual clothes then changing the t...
Statement of intent The name of my brand is attire which means "clothes, especially formal ones" I decided it was simple and conveyed that it was a clothing brand, due to the name i've decided to make the brand  a high end clothing brand which sells formal clothes such as suits and dresses for both genders. The brands will be one of the few formal wear brands which sells fair trade clothing with an ethical manufacturing production. As the products are in collaboration with fair trade the brand will source its material and make the items from a place where the workers have excellent working conditions due to attire having strict rules and regulations, they also make sure that all their workers get a fair price for them making quality materials. They will also be using the money to provide the workers which grow the cotton  plants and make the material money to   fund  schools , medical care and improve protection against workplac...
