Cadbury - Cadbury is the biggest manufacturer of chocolate, to widen their market they would use fair trade ingredients because if they didn't some people would be opposed to buying it. Because they sell so many products where they source their chocolate from makes a large impact which is why fair trade reached out to them. They have the logo on the side of their chocolate advertise it, they also have an advert where they entice people into buying their chocolates by conveying that they would be helping the communities that grow them.In the advert the fairtrade logo stands out.

Bananas- Bananas are a common food, because they normally are imported, this might make buyers more careful to whether the bananas are ethically sourced, to make it obvious fair trade stickers and logos are put on the bananas and packaging. On the website they have said that buying fair trade bananas are cheaper and by buying them the money is also contributed to help communities, improve protection and workplace conditions. They emphasized this cause by saying that in the countries which usually grow bananas due to the price of bananas dropping farming for them has become unsustainable implies that protection and workplace conditions arent as good as fairtrade. In this advert they entice readers to buy bananas by conveying that if you buy a banana the money will be spent on charity work, this advertising is good because it entices people to buy their product over other companies that sell bananas as consumers will be donating to charities in an easy way. Even though the fairtrade logo is small when adverts have messages about how profits from their product could be used to help communities people normally associate that with fairtrade. Supermarkets such as sainsburys co operative and waitrose work with fairtrade and advertise it on their products, meaning that fairtrade bananas are in high demand as large supermarkets sell them.

AMT coffees - AMT coffees were the first coffee producers which used  all fairtrade coffees and teas, the brand also advertise on the faitrade page that they have been fairtrade for 10 years showing their commitment and belief in fair trading, this would give them a unique selling point and could persuade people to buy their product because they are ethical. The brand stand for quality coffee and often comment on how 'outstanding' their suppliers coffee beans are. This awareness of where they get their coffee from conveys that the brand is 'passionate' about their product that they are selling. They also worked with fairtrade to advertise the AMTs Facebook page by rewarding the first 200 people to like and comment with fairtrade hashtags with a free drink, this advertises their brand and their partnership with fairtrade.

Image result for fairtrade gold advertsGold companies have a bad reputation for unethically manufacturing gold this could be off putting to buyers so by working with fairtrade they can source ethical gold. On the fairtrade website they raise awareness on how miners how small scale  miners often work 'long days and in 'hazardous situation'  are not paid 'fair prices', they then go on to say how they pay their miners enough money for them to invests in houses, education and health care. Brands such as  article jewelry, Alexis Hove and Amanda li hope use fairtrade gold these companies can be found all over the UK and have online stores making it easily accessible for consumers to buy fairtrade gold. The advert is fairtrade advertising their gold and how they help their workers.
