 Old spice has tried to refresh the brand image so it is more accessible to a younger audience. They have done this by using animations of a beach on the old spice brand ambassadors body, this is different to what they have done before, which creates a new fresh image. In the animation/cartoons they have people doing activities such as wind surfing and sunbathing, these are activities that a younger audience would do. The cartoons which are used are all of younger people which differs from the older actors which have been used, this is to show that it is made for a younger audience. He has a volcano on his head which conveys that the products are mind blowing, it is also a unique image which has never been done before on an advertising poster. They have added humor into the poster through the title which makes an over exaggerate untrue fact, this reflects the poster as it is absurd, this attracts a younger audience as it is aimed at their humor. The font of the caption is all in bold to draw attention to it and make it seem important, i is in block letters which appeals to a younger audience as it is more modern and youthful compared to writing which is like handwriting which draws in an older audience as uit conveys that the brand has been around fro a long time.
