The framing of this shot is different as the women in the original is centered between two windows with vertical metal bars, the street that she is standing on has parallel vertical lines because drop between the pathway and the curb the model is standing side on and they are looking down at a parking meter, the wall is ombre pink and has horizontal lines of pink, there is also a shadow of an electricity pole. I think the ours conveys the same colours at it is a red to and a red wall and it has a window with vertical lines and the bricks are horizontal and there is a vertical line in the wall.
The original is successful as everything is a vertical or horizontal line which emphasis's the curvy women this could replicate how the fashion industry promotes straight sized models and the women in it is a model and it shows how she is different, so it is going against the norms of fashion.
The lighting is brighter in the original as it is in a hot place and we are filming in winter. This makes the original successful as the ambient daylight lighting on the pink walls conveys positive as it is a warm colour and warm has connotations of being cozy and comfortable, which shows how the women is comfortable wearing vibrant clothes.
We tried to replicate the pink background by using a red brick wall and a red top. The original is successful as the trousers are the same vibrant shade as the wall, this conveys how the women is being bold by wearing bright colours.
In the original the camera is further away which captures more of the vertical and horizontal lines, we used a hand held camera whereas the person filming the original probably used a tripod to make sure that the camera doesn't move and to make sure the straight lines weren't wonky.
Although our video isn't exactly the same i think that our model looks confident, and the vibrant red top replicates the one that the model is wearing.
