Newspapers and political bias


1) Examples of liberal values would be actions to achieve equality by alleviating social ills and protect human rights.

2)Conservatives believe in personal responsibilities, limited government and free market. They think that the government should help people achieve there own goal.

3) A political party may change their stance as the key values  of their party might not aline with the values of a liberals, socialists or communists

4) An organisation might support a political party through its media product as the party may have values or rules that could help the organisation.















The mail on Sunday shows a right wing ideology, this because they support the bombings. This is conveyed in the quote "Trump: "mission accomplished". The fact that they used Trump in the headline further emphasis's their right wing views as Trump himself has right winged views. This might be be unsuccessful as Trump has a bad reputation and is widely looked down upon but the mail on Sundays audience  might like Trump as they  see themselves within his right winged views.

Analysis of mad men. The scene starts with a birds eye shot of the street, they use digetic sound through sound of the cars and they use mise en scene through the old cars, this is to establish that the office is in New York. Then the camera cuts to a shot of them entering an elevator there is fast pate instrumental non digetic music  from the era to emphasize the fast paste of the business world. They use digetic sound as when they reach the floor the elevator bings. They us mise en scene as the men are all wearing suits and the one women is wearing clothes from the era. Burn the witch and un-finished symphony comparison. Unfinished symphony used their video to represent street life to raise awareness of what a lower class neighborhood in los angles looked like uninterrupted where as Burn the Witch uses characters from a popular children's television show to show part of the narrative from the movie the wicker man which is intertextuality, the two story lines of the children television show and the wicker man juxtaposes ecahother.
