These show different political ideologies as the guardian have a liberal view as they use words which are sympathetic towards refugees such as " shocking cruelty. Whereas the Daily mail uses there left wing patriarchal point of view and present migrants as criminals by using the word "seize". Criminality is looked down upon. They also used the word "swarm" which has connotations of swarm of flies, this re[resents migrants as a pack which could threats British civilians.

The title for the guardian is small and directly under it there is a picture of a man carrying a child, due to the thin and small title it creates a soft visual for the reader top look at. Whereas the daily mail has a large headline in thicker font with pictures of migrants on the street and police cars with a red banner, this creates an aggressive visual which conveys urgency.

As the audiences for these newspapers are completely opposite it as the daily mail is more  left wing than the guardian their front pages will attract the audience as their messages differ each other and the messages will stand out when they are put on the news stand side by side.

Analysis of mad men. The scene starts with a birds eye shot of the street, they use digetic sound through sound of the cars and they use mise en scene through the old cars, this is to establish that the office is in New York. Then the camera cuts to a shot of them entering an elevator there is fast pate instrumental non digetic music  from the era to emphasize the fast paste of the business world. They use digetic sound as when they reach the floor the elevator bings. They us mise en scene as the men are all wearing suits and the one women is wearing clothes from the era. Burn the witch and un-finished symphony comparison. Unfinished symphony used their video to represent street life to raise awareness of what a lower class neighborhood in los angles looked like uninterrupted where as Burn the Witch uses characters from a popular children's television show to show part of the narrative from the movie the wicker man which is intertextuality, the two story lines of the children television show and the wicker man juxtaposes ecahother.
