Calvin Harris
This website contributes to dance music as it has when they are playing shows. It also has a poster of his latest song, It has connotations of partying until morning time with the orange background which references a sunrise. It has a beam of light which could symbolizes a disco or the sun. The picture has an artist that they collaborated with, she has her hands above her head like shes dancing, her beaded outfit which is extravagant is something a person would where if they were going to the club. There is this imagery behind which is blue and grainy, it symbolizes the blue lights at a club and how if you take a picture at night time it is grainy. This is to reference partying until late in the night.

Sigala
The website has the same background which they have used in there new music video which is in the middle of the screen, this is so fans can easily click on the music video to watch it. The image is of a lake with large rocks and a clear blue sky, this has references at summertime which is when people usually listen to this type pf music. They have there social media in the top left hand corner in white, this creates a clean look to the website as all the other writing on it is white, this shows that it is dance music as genres such as rock would have darker imagery and font. on the right hand top corner there is a link to spotify which is where people can play there music. The number next to the spotify link suggests that many people listen to their music and maybe influence people to listen to to it more as the more people listen to it the higher the number goes.


Avicii 
Due to the recent death of Avicii the website includes only a background a link to spotify. The picture is of a cave and at the end of it,it  has a gold tree. This is symbolizes avicii recent suicide as the cave shows the drakness he felt when he was alive and the tree which is gold could symbolize afterlife. There is his logo at the very top and his date of death in the left of the screen.

Analysis of mad men. The scene starts with a birds eye shot of the street, they use digetic sound through sound of the cars and they use mise en scene through the old cars, this is to establish that the office is in New York. Then the camera cuts to a shot of them entering an elevator there is fast pate instrumental non digetic music  from the era to emphasize the fast paste of the business world. They use digetic sound as when they reach the floor the elevator bings. They us mise en scene as the men are all wearing suits and the one women is wearing clothes from the era. Burn the witch and un-finished symphony comparison. Unfinished symphony used their video to represent street life to raise awareness of what a lower class neighborhood in los angles looked like uninterrupted where as Burn the Witch uses characters from a popular children's television show to show part of the narrative from the movie the wicker man which is intertextuality, the two story lines of the children television show and the wicker man juxtaposes ecahother.
