Big issue covers analysis To reflect the eccentricity of David Bowie they have used a white background so that the colours of the face paint on his face stand out also they have made his eyes a different colour to make him look like an alien. They have done an exact front photograph of his face and shoulders which makes him look like he is looking directly at the reader. He has his signature hair and makeup so that he is easily recognizable. They have used a very white light to highlight his pale skin and to emphasize the vividness of his face paint. They have used an animated green font for his name which he uses for most other things and to match the font of his name they have used the same green as the colour of the big issue font.
