The pitch

I've decided to make a high end brand called article the brand makes clothes such as suites and dresses for events. This is suggested by the brands name is 'attire' which means "clothes, especially fine or formal ones." The logo is has framed hand drawn flowers and is all black and white, the flowers suggest nature and refers to the ethical side of the brand, the flowers being hand drawn conveys a message of effort and time being put in the pieces as it takes time and effort to draw flowers. The flowers are framed as it makes the logo look neat as they are two lines and artwork is normally framed this could suggests that the clothing is neatly tailored and the products are so well produced its like artwork. The juxtaposition between the lightly drawn flowers and the lack straight neat framing and the bold font in the middle shows people that the brand is modern.

As the products are in collaboration with fair trade the brand will source its material and make the items from a place where the workers have excellent working conditions due to attire having strict rules and regulations, they also make sure that all their workers get a fair price for them making quality materials. Like the brand Everlane ( a brand which i researched about) attire will give their customers a full breakdown of where the money they have spent has gone, this makes the brand more transparent and gains customers trust with statements that the brand puts out and quality of the clothes.

As the brand sells high end clothes the target market is C1 and AB social class, as they are the type of people that would get invited to the events which these types of clothes are needed for. For high end clothes the brand would be mid priced.

I will do two posters with. I will make them both noticeably from the same company by having the word attire in the same font as the logo in the middle at the top of both posters. The full logo will also be in the bottom right hand corner.

For the mise en scene of the posters, is that I've decided to do both images in black and white and the other in color but they will both have a vintage feel. The photos take inspiration from photos and campaigns which will be selling around the same style of clothing as the brand but with a twist to make them unique to attireAlso it will give the campaign a wider variation of the style of photos. The two ideas are linked in as they both are quite candid images which have the same models wearing fancy clothes.

For the first poster which will be in black and white and outside, it will consist of a male and female model which will be interacting with each other to give a more candid feel the picture will look like it was taken while two people were having a fun conversation and for the second poster
I've decided to have the other poster of one of the models running outside ,I've decided to focus this one more with movement as it will show what the clothes look like when they move. by keeping them in the same setting it ties both of the images together. I will also do it in black and white as it fits in with the vintage style i have gone for. It will be outside in an old derelict setting.
This would attract target audience as it optimizes the time they would hope to spend in those clothes so they could see themselves in that position. As the picture shows the models having fun the audience would want to be in that position as they are younger are more energetic than people who are older. The models enjoying themselves gives a sense of ease and make the clothes seem comfortable and they can enjoy themselves without worrying about there clothes. This photo is set outside it is the reference to the collaboration to fair trade because all products come from the earth. In this poster fair trade will be underneath the attire title in the same font but smaller.
